![]() It was clear that she did not even understand the concept that she was providing a paid service and was accountable to her customers. I politely informed her that everyone at Quest worked for their customers and their insurances (we pay the bills that pay their salaries), and she outright dismissed me and left the room. When I suggested that maybe I needed to talk to billing about it, she said it was up to me, but it would be a waste of my time. A supervisor was rude to me and it was obvious that she didn't know why Quest operated the way it did. The last time I went in for a blood test (today), I inquired about these issues. This is tedious and unnecessary for most customers who maintain the same insurance(s). They also make me resubmit all my insurance information everytime I use their services. ![]() I recently had to pay for a Quest diagnostic service and I believe it's because of this discrepancy. While they both fall under the TRICARE umbrella, they are not the same insurance for submission and billing purposes. Every military retiree on Medicare is automatically enrolled in TRICARE FOR LIFE, which is a different insurance than normal TRICARE. For example, they only list TRICARE West in my region and do not list TRICARE FOR LIFE. Lately, however, their employees, customer service, and administrative procedures have really gone downhill. First, let me say I've used Quest for my entire military career and long after I retired. I WILL NEVER GO TO QUEST DIAGNOSTICS ON RALPH AVENUE EVER AGAIN. The waiting room was PACKED WITH ppl with appointments but yet the office took a year and a day to call those people too. Again I knew I was a walk in however let me know this beforehand when you are taking my name off the list and still having me sitting there for 2 hours. ![]() If I wasn't paying attention I would have sat there for 6 hours instead of 2. She goes back to check and says "that they can't see me" why not tell me that before removing my name from the list. I did not have an appointment (I tried making one online but it wasn't working on my end) and was prepared to wait however they completely took my name off of the "Wait and Standby List" I am thinking I am making progress.I asked the rep if they were going to be calling my name as my name no longer appeared on the screen. If I could give 0 stars I would.Quest Diagnostics on Ralph Avenue is HORRIBLE. ![]()
